Korean Wave

South Korea is such a small country; it is smaller than Japan, and even smaller than Southern California. A lot of people in the world did not know well about Korea; Korea was only famous for chip Korean cars and technology. However, Korea suddenly became so popular since around 2000, mainly because of Korean dramas. Besides Korean dramas, there are so many other facts that boosted "Korean wave" such as Korean food, movies, singers, electronic companies (Samsung and LG)etc,.
I am very proud of my country and glad that finally foreigners started to recognize my country and came to travel.
Although I am here in America, I really want to go back to my country and catch up with Korean culture I missed.

World Cup

Korean people are very excited about the World Cup that is held in South Africa this summer.
The first game of Republic of Korea is with Greece in June 11. So, I am guessing Korea town will get crazy with "Red Devils" which refer to Korean soccor fans.
Korean team have been prepared very hard for this World Cup because they did not have a good result for the last one. Everyone is hoping that Korean soccor team plays better this time. I am also going to wear the "Red Devils" T-shirt and cheer for them at 4:00 AM on Saturday...
I am excited to see all the games that Korean team plays.
